This is one of the best fireworks festivals in Japan and the best in Aomori Prefecture (so I'm told). I have never seen this presentation however, its only a 20 minute drive and probably worth the trip.

The event takes place in the downtown city park. Get there early at the main street will be closed at 5pm until after the show.
