SHIRAHAMA BEACH: This campground is about 1 hour from Misawa. Go to Hachinohe and get on route 45 south. Go through the city and continue south until you come to the Restaurant Love on the left (about 20 minutes past the City Office). Turn left and to a short distance until you reach Hachinohe University. Turn left and continue straight until you see a gas station on the right. You will see an amusement park and its parking lot. The campground is located just outside the park.

TANESASHI BEACH: Continue past Shirahama Beach for about 30 minutes down the coast to reach this campsite. They offer rental tents, a comminuty kitchen with running water and public restrooms.
